I got interested in Jeeps back before I turned 16. A friend of mine had a '55 WIllys pickup with a Corvette 327 in it and I was hooked. My first Jeep was a 1985 Jeep Cherokee. I started doing research on what I could for it. My first modification was a set of 1" lift blocks for the rear since they were sagging but I wanted to go bigger! My next Jeep was another 1985 Jeep Cherokee but I saved up enough to buy my first 3" kit for it. I spent the whole weekend figuring out how to install the new coils, add a leaf and shocks and then got a set of 31" tires for it. I spent the next few years exploring all around Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID. After my first trip to Moab, UT, I went up to 5" lift, did some 35" Boggers and setup my own set of 4.56 gears and lockers. My next Jeep was a 1998 5.9 Grand Cherokee and I did a budget boost and some take off 31"s from a Rubicon. Over the years, I added every single Mopar Performance part for the engine and swapped in a NP 242 transfer case so I could spin the tires. I then picked up an '88 Jeep Cherokee and swapped everything from the 85 XJ to the 88 XJ and had that as my wheeling rig. I also picked up a '93 Grand Cherokee and built it up with 33's, 4.5" long arm kit and took it to Moab several times. When Jeep finally put the 3.6 in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, I picked up a 2012 JKU. That weekend at the 4x4 swap meet, I swapped the stock tires for some 32's, added some Rubicon rock rails and an upgraded stereo in our booth. It eventually got a 1.5" lift and some 35's with flat fenders. That JKU currently has 2.5" lift, 37's and a Hemi 6.4 V8 swapped in. I picked up a 2020 Jeep Gladiator and had all my part to lift it and do 35's on the way the day I bought it! The JT currently has 2.5" lift, fender chop and 39" BFG MT's.
I started my interest in firearms back when I was kid in Boy Scouts but didn't get seriously into them until 2005. I started researching them and bought my first AR15 in 2006. I ended up replacing every part on it and decided my next one, I would just build it how I wanted. I bought a complete upper and a complete lower and assembled my first one. Next, I decided I wanted to build one completely from scratch. I purchased a stripped lower and upper from Aero Precision, a lower parts kit, barrel and bolt group from the internet and assembled both of them. 6 months later, I was employed full-time at Aero Precision as their product manager. While I was there, I helped to develop every single product and product offering from 2013 until 2019, including the M5 upper and lower, M4E1 upper and lower, all the handguards, scope mounts, etc. I also launched their complete upper and lower offerings. I left to go to Stag Arms in 2019 and moved the company from Connecticut to Wyoming and completely rebuilt the company in the new headquarters.
